The villainess

The Villainess was born when Hailie and her close friend, Alex, were cast together in a production of Chicago. They both had been wanting a creative outlet which allowed for artistic expression outside of the musical theatre industry. Musically, they wanted to focus on songs that evoked a feeling of feminine power and strength. After closing Chicago, they began practicing material and began releasing music videos, hosting local cabarets, and even releasing an EP! Their passion project, RUN AND HIDE, was released on Oct 31st , 2025 to overwhelming positive reception from the West Michigan music scene after being played on WYCE radio on 88.1 FM! Their EP even received a nomination for “Album of the Year” through the Michigan Music Awards in early 2026.
